UJCweb "content" is comprised of the text articles and images that make up the pages on your site. "Content" is also used to describe other elements, such as related links, downloads, and multimedia files that are associated with the content. Beyond web pages, "content" can also refer to information, such as database records. All content, in whatever form it takes, is indexed or classified (typically by site section) and then stored in a content library.
The UJCweb Content Library
UJCweb provides libraries for all photo galleries, images, downloads, and
multimedia files used on your site.
For page (article-type) content, two distinct libraries exist: the Local Library,
which contains the content you produce for your UJCweb site, and the Central
Library, which contains content from the UJCweb Central office, which is
provided by UJC.
Local Library Content
You can produce countless features and stories to be used exclusively on your site. Any article that you create for your site is stored in your Local Library.
Central Library Content
Through the UJCweb system, UJC syndicates a
variety of feature content for use within local UJCweb sites. This content-
ranging from current news articles, to feature stories about holidays, to
leadership briefings from UJC-can be found in UJCweb's Central Library.
The UJCweb content management system is easy-to-use and does not require that you have programming or coding skills. In fact, anyone who knows how to use a word- processing program should have no trouble learning our system. Plus, we'll train you on every feature, one step at a time, to make sure you feel comfortable with all the tools.
